Andrea McLean posts exciting wedding update

Let's hope she gets to the church on time!

With all this talk about the imminent royal wedding, it’s easy to forget that there are other things happening in this world.

And one of those things just happens to be another wedding – that of Loose Women star Andrea McLean and her partner Nick Feeney.

Anyone who watches the ITV panel show will know that Andrea, 48, has been massively looking forward to tying the knot with businessman Nick. Last week, she and her co-stars donned wacky accessories to celebrate her ‘hen do’.

Well, judging by a cute post on the Scottish presenter’s Instagram page, the wait for the big day is almost over…

Earlier today, Andrea uploaded a picture of a clock scrawled with the words “24 hours to go”.

Alongside it, she wrote: “The countdown begins… #excited #nervous #happy #wedding @lordfeeney.”

And fans loved the gesture, queuing up to wish the couple well via Andrea’s comments box.

One enthused: “Have an amazing day. Congratulations to you both x.”

Another added: “Ah hope you have a wonderful day – you make such a lovely couple xx.”

And a third encouraged: “You will be a truly stunning bride, Andrea.”

Andrea has been married twice before – first to BBC producer Nick Green, and then to Steve Toms, with whom she co-presented UKTV show Our House.

With both marriages ending in divorce, the Loose Women star could’ve been forgiven for going off the idea of getting hitched again.

However, following her on-screen ‘hen do’, she posted a message to Instagram, in which she thanked her fellow panellists for giving her the strength to go through it all again.

She wrote: “What an AMAZING DAY!!! THANK YOU @loosewomen for going to so much trouble and effort for me today – I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.

“You have helped me seize the day in so many ways, to not feel embarrassed or ashamed that I am getting married ‘again’.

“But to relish the joy of being loved for who I am, and how lucky I am to have the chance of starting a whole new life with someone by my side.”

Have a fab day, Andrea – we can’t wait to see the pictures!
