Andi Peters was reduced to tears on Lorraine as his former colleagues came on the show for a surprise interview.
The TV host, 50, is holding the fort for the next two weeks while regular Lorraine Kelly continues to enjoy her summer break.

And as the programme got underway today (Monday, August 10), his former Live and Kicking co-star Emma Forbes came on for a surprise chat.
Andi had to admit feeling overwhelmed at the reunion with his pal, growing visibly emotional.
Their co-star John Barrowman was also on Lorraine, which likewise featured a special message from Live and Kicking announcer Mitch Johnson.

“Emma, good morning!” Andi said to Emma, gobsmacked. “Oh my god… This is amazing. Sorry, I’m slightly overwhelmed.”
“Andi, lucky audience to watch you because quite frankly they’re going to have the best two weeks ever. You’re television gold as far as I’m concerned.”
I’m slightly overwhelmed.
She went on to praise Andi, calling him her close friend and a “rock” she can lean on.
Andi’s stint on the show follows several weeks of Loose Women star Christine Lampard hosting.

Last week, viewers were deeply confused as they tuned in to find Christine back on the programme when they were expecting to see Andi.
ITV informed viewers earlier this summer that the pair would be running the show in Lorraine’s absence.

However, last week Christine was still the main presenter, as she still had five more days on the programme, while Andi just appeared in the competition segments.
Christine presented Lorraine from July 20 to August 7. Andy will host until August 21, after which Christine will present again until September 1.
