Strictly star Amy Dowden has shared a heartwarming snap on her Instagram of the sons of Tom Fletcher hugging her.
Amy’s cuddles with Tom’s young ones come after she was forced to go to the hospital with a Crohn’s disease flare-up over the weekend.
What happened to Amy Dowden on Saturday?
On Saturday (November 27), Amy – who suffers from Crohn’s disease – was rushed to the hospital. The Strictly pro missed the live shows due to the flare-up.
On Monday (November 29), Amy Dowden shared the news with her 310,000 Instagram followers. In the post, which has since garnered over 91,000 likes, the pro dancer revealed that Tom Fletcher, his wife Giovanna, and Sara Davies had been looking after her.
Her fiancé, Ben Jones, was in Blackpool when Amy was taken to the hospital.

Thankfully, Amy told her fans that she was recovering after the flare-up.
“Thanks for all the messages over the weekend,” she captioned the post. “Unfortunately, I was missing from the show as I had an unexpected Crohn’s flare-up and hospital admission in which I received unbelievable care.
“I’m recovering very well and certainly being well looked after and look forward to returning to the dance floor.”

Amy took to Instagram again on Thursday to provide her followers with another update on her health.
The star posted an adorable picture of Tom Fletcher’s children, Buzz, Buddy, and Max, giving her a big group cuddle as she sat on the sofa.
Amy Dowden paid tribute to Tom and Giovanna in the heartwarming post.
“The Fletcher family had taken me in and treated me as one of their own and no words will EVER describe how truly thankful I am!” she wrote. “These hugs are certainly the best medicine!”
“Thank you again for all the lovely messages I’ve received,” the star continued. “Certainly feeling like my chatty self again and drinking far too much tea and my feet are itching to dance!!”

Amy’s Crohn’s flare-up and subsequent hospital dash came just a week after she and Tom were eliminated from Strictly. The pair were voted off the show during Musicals Week, where they danced to “On My Own” from Les Misérables.
