A certain Ms Willoughby is rumoured to be doing CBB

CBB drops another huge hint about a potential housemate

The countdown to Celebrity Big Brother 2018 has begun and the show is knee-deep in dropping hints about who might be walking through those famous sliding doors.

The Channel 5 show returns on January 2nd (four more sleeps, people!) with an all female cast and CBB has just made some more HUGE hints about another housemate…

A new teaser clip was shared today on the show’s official Twitter account with a distorted voice that can be heard saying: “What I’ve discovered since coming out is I don’t feel as if I’m telling a lie, or covering anything up and that is the most amazing gift.”

The words of the tweet read: “This housemate couldn’t be happier and we couldn’t be happier to have her on #CBB, but who could she be?

Any ideas?

Lots of fans are guessing it’s transgender journalist India Willoughby, who was born Jonathan but transitioned to female in 2015.

However, others aren’t so sure and think the voice could belong to X factor ‘rap star’ Honey G who came out earlier this year.

This latest CBB teaser follows news that Boris Johnson’s political commentator sister, Rachel Johnson, will also become a housemate.

A telly insider told The Sun: “Bosses want this year’s show to be quite different. There are lots of intelligent, cultured people going in, all with strong opinions.”

But don’t worry, the producers know exactly what they’re doing.

The source insisted that: “People have been chosen because they might clash — but hopefully there’ll be heated debate and discussion rather than just screaming and storming out.”

Gogglebox star Sandra Martin has also confirmed she will be joining the line-up, despite denying it on Twitter.

In a tweet the 55-year-old TV star denied that she was going I’m but later told The Sun how excited she was at the opportunity.

But if you want to know exactly who will be scrabbling for beds and shirking the washing up duties you’ll have to tune in.

Celebrity Big Brother is back on Channel 5, 9pm, January 2
