Will Aaron be killed off in Emmerdale?
Entertainment journalist and screenwriter Sharon Marshall, who is also a writer at Emmerdale, spoke to Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield on This Morning today (Tuesday, November 23) and confirmed the door will be left open for Danny to return.
She said: “I hate to confirm it, Danny Miller is leaving Emmerdale. Yeah he’s going, very sadly confirmed he has gone and we’ll see his exit soon.”
However Sharon confirmed Aaron will not be killed off, continuing: “I can confirm we’re not going to kill him, I can’t guarantee the jungle won’t.”
Holly then asked if the door has being left ajar and Sharon confirmed: “The door will be left open.”
Phil asked if he could ask why Aaron is leaving. But Sharon responded saying: “No, because that would massively give away a storyline.”
Why is Danny Miller leaving Emmerdale?
Currently Danny Miller is on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
However shortly after it was revealed he was in the line-up, he revealed that he isn’t just taking a break from the soap, but is leaving.
The actor, who welcomed a son with his fiancée Steph last month, told press: “I’d like to think I’m very, very far away from Aaron and that’s part of the reason why I wanted to do [I’m A Celeb].
“I’ve actually left Emmerdale, I unfortunately decided to start a new path in life. I’ve got my baby now and I’m [getting] married next year, it felt like the right time to open a new chapter in my life.
“I’m very very emotional about it actually, it’s been a massive part of my life.
“I’ve wanted to spread my wings for a while and a show like this can give me the opportunity to see what happens after it. [I can] start a new life with my family and see what happens.”

“He’s been in Emmerdale for 13 years and he wanted to open the door maybe to a different career path.
“It meant he’s got longer time off with Albert next year rather than working Monday to Friday seven till seven.”
