Tyrone Dobbs is given a smack in the face in tonight’s Coronation Street when Greg Snowden joins the cast as Isla Haywood‘s husband.
Poor Ty thought he’d hit the jackpot in the romance stakes when mum Isla asked him out. However she failed to mention she was already married.
Her husband – Tony Haywood – stormed into Speed Daal during their date and broke the news to Tyrone by punching him!
But actor Greg Snowden, who plays Tony, is no stranger to Soapland. Here’s where you might have seen him before.

Who is Greg Snowden in Coronation Street?

Tony has no idea his wife has been playing away, although according to Fiz, Isla has a bit of a reputation for asking other dads out behind her hubby’s back.
Tony calls his wife a ‘tart’ and they storm out of Speed Daal arguing. And this is the last we’ll see of them as Corrie has confirmed Gemma Oaten’s stint as Isla was only for four episodes.
However, Gemma recently told The Mirror she would love to make a comeback to the cobbles: “The directors and other cast members were saying Isla was such a brilliant character and needed to come back, so fingers crossed.
“I would obviously love to join Corrie full-time. The way I leave the cobbles is very open for a return.”
Fans seemed pretty taken with her too, with one tweeting: “I just wanted to say that Gemma Oaten
has been truly superb as Isla in Corrie! Hope she gets a longer stint!”

What else has Greg Snowden been in?
Greg has appeared in Coronation Street before back in 2019.
He played Kenny, a hotel porter at a posh venue Jenny and Johnny Connor checked into in a bid to repair their marriage.
The couple had been having troubles since the death of his son, Aidan Connor, and Johnny’s subsequent grief-stricken fling with Liz McDonald.
But Kenny managed to make things worse when he recognised Jenny, told her it was good to see her again and he’d put a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the fridge for his ‘favourite’ guest.
Johnny wasn’t impressed his wife had been there before. However, Jenny explained she had checked in alone to get away from Johnny for a night after they’d had another row.
Greg has also been in several episodes of Emmerdale, playing a paramedic in 2015, and the role of Greg in 2018.
Who is Gemma Oaten in Coronation Street?
Gemma Oaten played Isla Haywood who met Ty on Wednesday, November 10 when her daughter Darcy went to a party with Tyrone’s daughter Ruby.
The mum of the birthday child, Penny, was rude about little Hope and pretended she hadn’t been able to invite her to the party due to the limit on numbers.
But Tyrone was angry with her for judging his daughter and impressed Isla when he stood up to Penny on Hope’s behalf.
Later, Isla found Ty and asked him if he and Hope would like to get a milkshake with her and Darcy.

Isla told Tyrone she was single and asked him out for a drink. Flattered, Tyrone accepted, much to the delight of Hope and Darcy.
What happened between Tyrone and Isla in Coronation Street?
Tyrone and Isla had their date tonight (Tuesday, November 16) and it seemed to be going well as they met up in Speed Daal.
But as they were about to leave, her husband came flying in and punched Ty square in the face!
Tyrone had no idea Isla was already married and felt quite the fool for believing she was into him.
As Fiz and Phill tended to Ty’s wounds, Isla and her husband were mid-argument and stormed out of Speed Daal not to be seen again.
