Soap SPOILERS: Here’s what’s happening in Emmerdale and EastEnders tonight

Liam lashes out

There’s a visit to EastEnders bookended by two outings to Emmerdale on Thursday November 21.

In Emmerdale, the fallout from Jacob and Leanna’s mistake is set to have devastating consequences all round, meanwhile Chas is struggling.

In EastEnders, Ben might finally have grown a conscience, and Max is left humiliated.

Here are the six biggest storylines from tonight’s soaps.

Emmerdale, ITV, 7pm and 8pm

1. Leanna confesses

Leanna tells Bernice she slept with Jacob, but she asks her stepmum-to-be not to tell her dad, leaving Bernice conflicted.

However, after taking the morning after pill, Leanna throws up, and Liam tries to find out what’s going on. Leanna is forced to confess all.

And Liam isn’t happy when he finds out Bernice knew…

2. Liam lashes out

A fuming Liam barges into Jacob’s Fold after finding out about Jacob and Leanna and jumps to the conclusion Jacob forced her into it.

He accuses Jacob of taking advantage of Leanna and punches him.

Later, the police turn up and arrest Liam on suspicion of assault, sending shockwaves through their respective families.

3. Chas needs help

Chas is struggling to breastfeed Eve, and Paddy wants to help.

But she’s not too impressed with his meddling when he reveals he’s invited a new mum’s group over to the Woolpack to help her out.

And soon there’s an unwanted visitor making things a whole lot worse…

EastEnders, BBC One, 7.30pm

1. Ben gets a conscience

When Ben sees how much Martin hates working for him, his conscience kicks in, especially when he spots Martin happily playing with Arthur.

Ben confides in Jay about Callum’s proposition, but what has he decided?

Later, Callum spots Ben and Tubbs exchanging money and he doesn’t hold back.

2. Max is humiliated

Max is left humiliated when a customer at E20 assumes he’s Ruby’s dad.

Jean also makes a comment, and Jack winds him up, leaving Max realising he needs to up his game to keep Ruby.

But what does he have planned?

3. Leo opens up to Whitney

Watch out, Whit (Credit: BBC)

At The Vic, Leo opens up to Whitney about his past.

But given what we know about his past, it’s safe to say he isn’t entirely honest.

Will Whit work out all is not as it seems?
