Neighbours fans have been teased with the death of a character for weeks now and it looks as if the victim may finally have been revealed in a devastating storyline.

Vindictive nanny Alice Wells (Kerry Armstrong) has been spiking Sonya’s food and drink for weeks, later leaving her by the side of the road to die.

Toadie will learn from police that Alice was in contact with Fake Dee (Madeline West), which made lead to a return for the dastardly character and it’s been hinted that Toadie may try and take her down once and for all.

But, with Toadie looking to take full custody of Fake Dee’s son Hugo, if the scammer teams up with Alice her vengeance could be terrifying.

Eve Morey’s exit was leaked through social media when co-stars and friends were spotted at a leaving party, with Aussie TV magazine Soap World confirming the news.

Eve joined the soap in 2009 and was a guest character for a year before being made a series regular.

Her character has been at the centre of big storylines including the dramatic explosion on her wedding day and the revelation that she is Callum’s mother.

Fans are upset at the news that the popular character will be leaving, with one fan writing: “It is a real, real shame, but I’m going to try and be positive about it.

“I think Toadie’s character has stagnated a little and this will really invigorate him.”

The scenes will air in the next few weeks.
