Jake Quickenden shares topless picture with co-star David Tag on the Hollyoaks set

Jake will appear on screens in Autumn!

Jake Quickenden has shared a topless picture with Hollyoaks co-star David Tag on the set of the soap.

Jake, who recently started filming on the Channel 4 soap, posted the picture to his Instagram page.

The former Dancing On Ice champion captioned the post: "There's always two morons who take their tops off when it hits 16 degrees @davidtagofficial @hollyoaksofficial."

Fans were quick to comment on the picture. One wrote: "Looking gorgeous guys xxx."

A second commented: "When will you be on our screens? So excited."

Jake's role in the Channel 4 soap was rumoured last month and the show itself revealed the first pictures of him on set earlier this month.

The X Factor contestant filmed his first scenes on August 6 2019 and they're set to air during the show's big autumn stunt week in October.

Jake's first scenes were with Stephanie Waring, who plays Cindy, who he has previously worked with on Dancing on Ice, as well as Ellis Hollins, who plays Tom.

The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here star will also film with Nick Pickard, who plays Tony Hutchinson, Ashley Taylor Dawson, who plays Darren Osborne, Sarah Jayne Dunn, who plays Mandy Richardson and Gary Lucy who plays Luke Morgan as part of these episodes.

Speaking about his first day on set, Jake, who has recently been touring in Hair The Musical, said: "It's very exciting and it's a privilege.

"Hollyoaks is such an amazing show and it's been around for so long; to be asked to come and have a role on it, it's amazing.

"I'm really happy.

"I've had a great day and everyone's so sound.

"It's nice to arrive somewhere new and know someone like Steph [Waring] too, she's made it really easy to fit in."

Hollyoaks is on Monday to Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a first look episode every night on E4.
