Hollyoaks consulted male sexual abuse charity Survivors Manchester for the storyline to make sure it is accurately and sensitively portraying it.

It comes after paedophile football coach Barry Bennell was sent to prison for 30 years after abusing 12 young boys between 1979 and 1991.

He was convicted of 50 offences, including rape.
