| Updated:

Things continue to get worse for Steve after another accident, Leanne, Toyah and Sarah are suspicious of Nick’s dodgy finances, and Natalie makes a move on David in next week’s Coronation Street.

Steve gets himself into another mess

Steve is shocked to find the police quizzing Tim over the robbery at a petrol station involving a Streetcars cab. Will Steve tell the truth?

Steve is edgy after the robbery but Tracy insists he goes back out driving.

Armed with a baseball bat under his seat, he picks up three lads from a bowling alley but they refuse to pay.

As he grabs the bat, one of the boys does a runner and is hit by a car.

The young lad gets to his feet and says he doesn’t want to make a fuss as he plays for Weatherfield County and would get into trouble.

Steve takes him back to the cab office but is horrified to see the police there.

With Tim and Steve at odds and Steve only able to work the switch, Tracy Eileen and Liz announce they are going to run Streetcars.

Imran dumps Toyah

Toyah confides in Leanne about how difficult it’s been living with Imran since Rana’s death. She’s horrified to realise Imran has overheard their conversation.

Toyah returns home and apologises to Imran, but he’s unforgiving and asserts she’s made her thoughts quite plain. He tells her it’s over between them. Toyah’s gutted.

Nick under pressure

Seeing how upset Toyah is, Leanne asks her to move back in. Leanne tries appease Nick, but he’s furious about their new house guest.

As Toyah makes herself at home, Nick lets her know he doesn’t trust her.

Nick fears the net is closing in as Paula comes looking for him and Leanne is uneasy about what’s going on.

Nick tells Gary to be vague about how he was paid for the barber shop job and Leanne is shocked when Sarah tells her how Nick really paid off Elsa.

Leanne, Toyah and Sarah go up against Rick

Leanne, Toyah and Sarah discuss Nick’s dodgy finances and are convinced he must have done a deal with Rick the loan shark to fund the barbers.

After Sarah backs out of visiting Rick, Toyah and Leanne go to Rick’s office and quiz him about Nick but he’s adamant he’s never heard of him.

Masquerading as a customer, Leanne phones Rick and sets up a meeting at a random address.

Watching him leave, Toyah and Leanne break into his office and search for evidence. As Sharon lets herself into the office suddenly Sarah appears. Will the women get caught out?

Natalie kisses David

Shona grows increasingly jealous of the amount of time David is spending with Natalie.

Gail tells David she thinks Natalie has a crush on him and he should keep her at arms length.

However, with the police breathing down their neck, Nick tells David he needs to keep Natalie sweet.

Natalie persuades David to stay late to give her more training. She thanks him and they have a beer.

Back at home Shona prepares a romantic meal, but when David arrives home stinking of beer she’s fuming.

Shona calls at the barbers to invite David for lunch but he cancels to train Natalie.

Shona’s annoyed when she calls at the barbers to find Natalie and David together and as she leaves, Natalie tries to kiss David.

David caught out over Natalie

David tries to let Natalie down gently, but when she hears David and Nick discussing how their plan to keep her sweet backfired, she wastes no time in agreeing to date a client who is a policeman. She makes sure Nick knows what she’s doing.

David goes to the Bistro and eavesdrops on Natalie and her date, Andrew.

Andrew comes over and accuses David of fancying Natalie – just as Shona arrives looking for David.

Shona overhears Andrew saying he knows David tried to kiss Natalie. How will David get out of this one?

Sally forms a syndicate

Sophie and Paula show Sally the photos from their pony trekking holiday in Andalucia and Sally reminisces about the one and only time she went riding and enjoyed it.

Nick gives Sally some money to look after the factory whilst he is away with the family and she buys herself expensive horse riding kit.

Sally returns from her riding lesson and suggests to Tim they buy a horse.

When Sally reveals she intends to buy a racehorse, Jenny, Sinead and Yasmeen agree to buy in too and form a syndicate.

Roy is suspicious of Wayne

Brian quizzes Roy about his trip to Portsmouth and wonders if he solved the mystery of the ring, but Roy’s evasive.

When Brian reveals he’s done some further research on Sylvia’s ring and enlisted Wayne’s help, Roy masks his worries with a smile.

Roy tells Wayne he’d appreciate it if he stopped using him to glean information about Carla. Can Wayne be trusted?

Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm, with an extra episode on Thursday at 8.30pm on ITV.
