So started my journey with @up_north_pt in March 2019 and what a long one at that , no quick fixes , no diets just me ! I always felt guilty leaving willow to go to the gym or just have a little me time , but I knew I needed to do this for myself ! So grateful for the encouragement, knowledge and motivation @jamesstewart_up_pt and all at @up_north_pt gave me . I started this journey pretty desperate and low with such severe anxiety( I wanted to move more to help with this ) , my posture was awful and my core strength was non existent. I suffered with terrible joint pain and was always out of breath ! I used to go from binge eating to not eating enough, and mood swings galore, and that I felt I’d just lost myself ! For me this journey was about being the best version of myself , fitness , strength but mostly mentally !( this doesn’t happen everyday btw) Fuelling my body and being kind to it , to ALWAYS be kind to it ! To stop comparing myself to others and start be grateful for what I can do !( I got very sick during my training and spent a lot of time in hospital and it made appreciate my body so much more and that I HAVE to look after it, it’s the only one I have 😊) I no longer feel scared in a gym and now know it’s EVERYONES space ( remember that ) and to do what’s right for you @up_north_pt made this possible ❤️❤️❤️ this was my journey and no one else , and what was right for me !
