When soap fans aren’t happy with a storyline, they aren’t afraid to air their views… and they are gunning for Emmerdale after last night’s episode.
Many feared a favourite would be killed off, and their worries were confirmed, as Gerry Roberts was CRUSHED to death by his so-called best mate Lachlan.

The White psycho had been plotting his friend’s demise since discovering that Gerry knew he’d bumped off his own mum and grandfather in the car ‘accident’.
For a moment, it looked like Gerry had won himself a reprieve after telling his pal it was forgotten about and the secret would remain between them.
But then he made an ill-advised joke about what Lachlan does to people who cross him – and he experienced that first hand.
Lachlan asked his mate to move a barrel at the B & B, which is currently basically a building site, knowing it would cause the ceiling to collapse – and so it did.
Gerry was trapped under a mountain of rubble, but somehow survived.
And, although Lachlan did display some remorse about his actions, he threw a huge stone onto his friend’s chest to finish him off. Brutal!

Diane and Doug made the horrific discovery at the end of the second episode, with Lachlan feigning shock.

Gerry had established himself as a popular newcomer to the village – and viewers had quickly taken him to their hearts, so they were NOT happy…
#Emmerdale why kill off a good character like Gerry and keep an awful serial killer like Lockie? Its about time the creep Lockie was found out and locked away for ever,at least Gerry brought a few laughs to the show.
