Debbie Dingle has become one of Emmerdale’s most hated characters recently.
Any fans she had turned against her when she orchestrated an acid attack on her enemy Joe Tate, only for Ross Barton to be injured instead.
Fans have watched with rage as she’s kept quiet about her involvement, and even started dating original victim Joe!
But Debbie’s fortunes are set to change next week when she finally confesses to her crimes.
In the aftermath of Debbie being accidentally shot (some fans believed this was karma), Ross discovered that his ex-girlfriend was responsible for his acid attack when she confessed on her hospital bed.
Although he said he wouldn’t tell anyone else, he made it crystal clear he could never forgive her.
“I’ve never hated anyone more,” he told his brother Pete. He later told Debbie: “I want you to remember what you did. From now on, you are dead to me.”
Days later, wracked with guilt about her actions, Debbie decides it’s time to come clean to her family.

Following Pete’s tongue-lashing, Debbie admits to Chas and Sarah that Pete has every reason to be angry at her because she was responsible for Ross’ attack.
Both Chas and Sarah are horrified, with Sarah even refusing to have anything to do with her anymore.
Charity and Vanessa are also shocked to learn the truth about everything.
Alienated and alone, will Debbie find solace with boyfriend Joe? Or take everyone’s advice that he’s bad news?
