Ever since Andy Sugden left Emmerdale three years ago, fans have been eager to see him return.

While Kelvin Fletcher has previously admitted the soap is “in his DNA”, the 34-year-old has recently signed up for ANOTHER ITV show altogether…

The actor and fitness fanatic has now signed up to The Real Full Monty, according to reports.

The Sun reveals that Kelvin will join the likes of Love Island’s Jack Fincham, adding: “Bosses have chosen a very eclectic mix of stars.”

This year will be the third series of The Real Full Monty, which sees celebrities strip off to raise awareness for prostate cancer.

Previous contestants have included former TOWIE star James Argent, This Morning’s Jeff Brazier, EastEnders star John Partridge, Emmerdale’s Matthew Wolfenden, Pointless’ Alexander Armstrong and TV chef Ainsley Harriot.

Kelvin, who played Andy for 20 years from 1996 to 2016, would fit in nicely with the stripping celebs as he’s not shy of sharing topless shots of his six-pack on his social media pages.

Last year, the dad-of-two showed off his incredible transformation to his 93,100 Instagram followers.

Kelvin’s soap character left Emmerdale when Andy went on the run in 2016.

After Emmerdale bosses recently revealed an old character will be returning to the soap in mid-February, some fans speculated that it could be Andy.

He himself has never ruled out a return, saying in October: “I honestly don’t know. Andy wasn’t killed off, so technically I could return. But I genuinely haven’t given it much thought. […]

“I must get asked a couple of times a day when I’m going back. While Emmerdale is in my DNA, it’s exciting doing different things.”
