It seems that Emmerdale singleton Rhona is well and truly back in the saddle – after she bedded fit farmer Pete Barton in tonight’s episode!
Viewers were left stunned after the surprise pairing headed back to Pete’s house following a date in the pub, then proceeded to get hot and heavy on the sofa – before taking their passionate encounter up to Pete’s bedroom!
The unlikely duo first started showing signs of a flirtation last week, after Vanessa pushed her best pal into bidding on Pete in the charity auction in the Woolpack. Poor Rhona’s been pining after her ex-husband Paddy for months, but he’s clearly happy with his new girlfriend Chas. And Vanessa reckoned that it was time Rhona finally moved on and had some fun of her own…

And Rhona has certainly taken her advice! After a failed attempt at a date, Rhona and Pete ended up sharing a shock snog in a field full of sheep last week. But rather than feeling sheepish about her actions, Rhona was left wanting more – and invited Pete out for a drink in the Woolpack in tonight’s episode.
But it wasn’t just Paddy who Rhona wanted to forget about. It was her wicked ex-husband Pierce’s birthday – and after receiving a reminder of that in the post, it’s no wonder the single mum just wanted to let her hair down and forget everything she’s been through recently.
Their hot date raised more than a few eyebrows among the locals – and Paddy in particular was put out to see his ex-wife looking cosy with player Pete. He made it perfectly clear that he didn’t think the two-timing love rat was suitable for lovely Rhona, leaving Chas wondering why he was so interested in his ex’s love life…
Paddy wasn’t prepared to let it drop though – and after Vanessa let slip that Rhona was just trying to get over someone, he had a hunch that he knew who she was taking about. So, while lucky Rhona was enjoying playing tonsil hockey with Pete, Paddy landed on Vanessa’s doorstep to demand some answers – and was stunned to find out that his former missus is still in love with him!
But while Paddy wasn’t impressed with Rhona’s new toyboy lover, the Emmerdale fans were happy to see her finally having some fun after everything she’s been through…
