Emmerdale’s Charley Webb posts gorgeous picture of son Bowie pushing Ace’s pram

Big brother duties

Real-life Emmerdale couple Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden welcomed their third child together last month.

And it seems family life is going well as Charley has shared a new snap of her middle child, three-year-old Bowie, helping out by pushing his little brother’s pram.

Underneath the picture, the actress wrote: “This job might just be a little more important than his superhero one (sometimes).”

Fans were quick to comment on how cute the image is: “You’ve got such a beautiful family,” said one.

“Gorgeous boys,” wrote another, and someone else added: “Your kids are the coolest, so stylish!”

Many people wanted to know where Bowie’s shoes were from (Charley confirmed they’re from Next, should you be wondering!)

Although Charley and Matthew announced their third child had arrived on July 29, they kept his gender and name hidden until earlier this week.

The 31-year-old, who married co-star Matthew last year, initially posted a black and white picture of the tot.

The baby was dressed in a customised babygrow with ‘Baby Wolf’ across it in the adorable image.

Charley wrote alongside the snap: “BaByWoLf #3 has joined the crazy gang. We’re in a bubble of newborn’ness heaven.”

She and Matthew, 39, already had two sons, Buster, nine, and Bowie.

The couple have now revealed to OK! magazine that their new arrival is a boy, named Ace Gene.

Charley also told the magazine about the newborn’s traumatic birth.

“The umbilical cord was wrapped around Ace’s neck when he was born,” she explained.

“It came off and he was passed to me but I could tell something was wrong.

“Ace wasn’t breathing at first – so the midwife had to press the panic button.”

Matthew added: “By the time someone had come through the door from the panic button being pressed, Ace was breathing again, so it couldn’t have been long. Although it felt like a lifetime.”
