The wedding of Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle is one of the most highly anticipated in soap history.
The popular couple are set to marry for the second time tonight (Friday 5 October), after their first attempt was ruined by armed police officers looking for Faith Dingle…
But will this second attempt have its own bombshell moment?
Actor Adam Thomas, who played Adam Barton, has dropped a massive hint that his character will be making a special appearance at the event.
He hasn’t been seen since Cain and Aaron broke him out of jail and he went on the run.
Viewers know that Adam was wrongfully imprisoned for murdering Emma Barton, a crime his mum Moira committed.
So could Adam be the “something borrowed” (from jail)?
Viewers knows that Adam was Aaron’s best friend, before he was sent to jail.
On Thursday (4 October), Emmerdale sent a tweet teasing the Robron wedding, with the message: “We’ll see you tomorrow,
And actor Adam sent fans into overdrive when he retweeted the message with his own, saying: “With a little surprise.”

So, wait, what does that mean?
Fans jumped to the obvious conclusion that Adam Barton will be present at the wedding, with one saying: “You and Andy turning up late minute to best Man hmmm now that be the best wedding gift EVER!!!”
Another said: “Wait what if cain comes back with Adam or gets him to call Aaron?”
A third simply said: “Awh I hope you make a little appearance.”
What are you up to Adam! Really hope there’s a little cameo from you tonight!

Others thought Adam was just kidding, with many saying: “That’s not funny.”
If Adam did return, we’d sure see a big smile on Aaron’s face…
The groom-to-be is currently devastated about losing his little sister Grace in heartbreaking scenes earlier this week.
Aaron doesn’t feel it’s the right time to be celebrating, but his grieving mum Chas says that the wedding should go ahead and be a happy day.

In a recent interview, Ryan Hawley – who plays Robert – said: “It’s one of the very few occasions in the show where people get to be happy without any interruptions.
“Obviously, there’s the background of what’s gone on with Grace, but it’s a very positive episode.”
