Emmerdale viewers are confused as to why Victoria went to visit her rapist Lee in hospital after he was attacked by Robert.
Lee attacked Victoria after Emmerdale’s Big Night Out resulting in her being pregnant.
In Tuesday’s episode of Emmerdale (July 30 2019) Victoria agreed to give her attacker the money he was demanding in return for him giving up rights to her unborn baby, but Vic refused to give him a public apology.

As Vic and Robert made the deal with Lee, he continued to try and wind up Robert.
They stood in the doorway and Lee said to Robert: “Well that was fun wasn’t it?”
But as Robert replied: “No, no it really wasn’t,” Lee responded with: “Well sometimes no doesn’t mean no does it? Just adds to it.”
Lee then continued to make disgusting comments about what he had done to Victoria: “I mean is it really rape when they love it as much as your sister did?
“And I even gave her a nice little souvenir to remember me by. Bye. Uncle Robert.”
Robert followed Lee out of his house with a murderous look in his eyes and the pair soon started fighting
Lee continued to wind Robert up by saying things like “your sister fought harder than this.”
When Robert told Lee he wasn’t walking away from this, Lee replied: “Oh but I am, and twenty grand richer. Baby maker, money maker, I wonder who the next lucky lady is going to be?”
As he walked away, Robert came up behind him and smacked him over the head with a shovel, knocking him unconscious.
As Rishi thought it was part of the Wild West day, he alerted the other villagers, bringing attention to the attack.
An ambulance was called and Lee has been left in a coma.
Robert claimed that it was self defence and asked Victoria to say she saw Lee throw the first punch.
In last night’s episode (August 1 2019) Victoria went to go see Lee in intensive care and she came across Lee’s mum Wendy.
Victoria told Wendy she needed to know how he was.
The chef then told Wendy the real reason why Lee was at the house – to get money in return for him giving up rights – but she still didn’t believe Victoria.

Wendy revealed Lee barely made it though the night and the longer he was in this condition, the more likely he was to have brain damage, if he didn’t die.
Victoria apologised and told her she never wanted Lee to die.

After Victoria went to the hospital, she visited her dad Jack’s grave where she was joined by Robert.
Later in the episode, Robert confessed that him hitting Lee wasn’t self defence and what Lee had been saying about Victoria.
Victoria still vowed to support her brother.
Emmerdale is on Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursday on ITV.
