Emmerdale viewers cheer on Debbie as she attacks Kim Tate

She found out Joe was alive recently

Emmerdale viewers cheered on Debbie Dingle in last night’s episode (April 4) as she attacked Kim Tate.

On Wednesday night (April 3) Debbie had discovered the truth about her ex-fiance Joe Tate being alive.

Last night she went up to Home Farm and had a go at Graham, obviously distraught that he knew about Joe the whole time and let Cain believe he had killed his future son-in-law.

Later, Debbie told her dad it was Kim she should’ve gone after and it all goes back to her.

Debbie reached the end of her tether and as she caught Kim coming out of the Woolpack. She lost her temper with the businesswoman.

Winding Debbie up Kim said: “If Joe really loved you, he’d have stayed.”

Debbie slapped Kim and grabbed her face saying: “You have nothing.”

Kim hit back spitting: “And what have you got”.

Debbie replied with: “Family, which is more than you.”

She continued to put her enemy in her place saying “You’re not going to ruin anyone lives anymore, right. It’s over.”

Viewers loved that someone finally stood up to Kim and cheered the mechanic on.

Viewers know Kim was the one who ordered Graham to kill Joe back in October last year. However, he couldn’t bring himself to off his surrogate son so he gave him money, a gun, and told him to leave the village.

Joe didn’t want to leave Debbie though, especially on their wedding day, and turned around, but he ran into an angry Cain. The mechanic punched him for abandoning his daughter before they were due to get married.

The knock caused Joe to hit his head on a rock, leaving Cain to believe he killed him.

Graham then said he’d clean up Cain’s mess. Viewers, along with Graham, saw Joe’s hand twitch when Graham put him in the boot of his car.

The next thing we saw was Graham leaving Hotten Viaduct sobbing, giving the impression he’d finished the job. But fans weren’t convinced.

For months we were all left wondering, but in March it was shown that Joe is in fact alive.

He was spotted on CCTV in Monte Carlo.

Kim was angry to hear Graham had lied to her and she revealed she knew his whereabouts down to his hotel room number.

But Graham told her he moved Joe on to a safe location.

Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode on Thursday at 8pm.
