Emmerdale viewers beg for Graham and Joe storyline to end after yet another twist

Graham has angered fans after another new revelation

Emmerdale fans have expressed their frustration with the ITV soap, after scriptwriters delivered yet another twist surrounding the death of Joe Tate.

In scenes that aired last night (Thursday 14 March), Kim Tate arrived back in Emmerdale like an unwanted tornado, forcing Graham to drop everything for her.

Treating him like her little lapdog, she later got him to explain what had really happened with her nemesis Joe Tate… Something all Emmerdale fans have been wondering since last year!

Graham told Kim the circumstances surrounding Joe’s death, explaining that Cain had done the killing and he’d simply got rid of the body.

He told her: “He killed him before I had the chance.”

As the realisation sunk in with Kim, viewers knew what this meant for village favourite Cain… That his life is in grave danger.

Kim is now convinced she has to get rid of Cain, as he knows too much and could bring her down.

She said: “This is too messy. There’s no way Cain is dragging us down with him. He needs silencing.”

But was Graham lying? After all, we all know Joe’s fingers twitched after Cain punched him. So did Graham finish him off, or save him?

Fans are begging show bosses to answer these questions and end the unexplained Joe death storyline, still unsure if he really died or not.

One tweeted: “Someone PLEASE confirm whether Joe is dead or not. I’m tired of this #emmerdale.”

Another exasperated viewer said: “Joe Tate is in a [coffin]. Please #Emmerdale end the endless ‘is he dead?’ crap!! @emmerdale.”

A third added: “Did Graham lie about Cain to hide the fact he is secretly protecting Joe or is he telling the truth? I just need to know #Emmerdale.”

“If #Emmerdale are going revisit the Joe Tate storyline, they really need to conclude it. For all our sakes!,” said another.

Others said they were “losing the will to love” with the plot, while one predicted “they are gonna stretch that ‘mystery’ out as long as possible”.

Joe, played by actor Ned Porteous, was killed off in a twist in October, with Graham Foster appearing to kill him while pinning the blame on Cain Dingle.

But did he or didn’t he? Give us a clue, Emmerdale!
