Christmas is coming and Emmerdale has revealed some of what’s going to happen in their big festive episodes.
In spoilers revealed on Digital Spy it says David Metcalfe is in for a huge surprise this season, but will it be a jolly one?
The big bombshell waiting in the wings is that David’s ex, Maya Stepney, is heavily pregnant. Could that be David’s Christmas surprise?
Viewers saw Maya sporting a huge baby bump last week when she was released from prison.

She didn’t return to the village, so no one there knows she’s pregnant. But with a bump that big, it’s likely the baby is due soon – a Christmas baby, perhaps?
Could David’s turkey dinner be interrupted by a call from the hospital saying she’s given birth to his child? Might Maya die in childbirth forcing David to bring up their kid alone?
Or could the baby be Jacob’s? Maya was in prison after grooming David’s son, Jacob Gallagher into believing they were in a relationship.
Jacob is just finally starting to realise Maya has messed him up – how would a permanent connection to her in the form of a baby affect him?
Or will the surprise be something totally different? A cheeky present? Or the return of one of his exes?
Elsewhere in the Dales, Graham will also be dropping a bombshell – we’re not sure how many more the Tate clan can take!

Is there yet ANOTHER skeleton in their closet, or will Graham’s big reveal be that he’s Millie’s biological father?
Next week Kim will have the DNA test results proving who is the daddy of Millie – Graham or Jamie.
But with pregnant Andrea bleeding, Kim is distracted taking her daughter-in-law to hospital. Could Andrea be losing the baby? And will the tragic loss cause Kim to keep the DNA results under wraps?
Either way, could Graham have found them and decide to reveal all over Christmas lunch?
