It looks like Lydia won't be getting the peace she wants in tonight's Emmerdale (July 12 2019) when a reporter shows up at Wishing Well cottage looking for her.
Last week the village was in shock when Jessie revealed bones of a baby had been found at Hotten Academy.
It was later revealed that the police were looking for a woman named Jenny Finn who was just a teenager at the time the baby was born.
What soon transpired was Jenny is Lydia.
Lydia had got pregnant when she was 15 years old with a boy in her maths class.
When she found out she was pregnant she didn't want anyone to find out as she was scared her baby would be taken away from her once born.
After giving birth in the top floor bathroom of the children's home she lived in, she realised her baby boy wasn't breathing and had sadly been 'born sleeping'.
She then went to a woodland area and buried him.
Terrified anyone would find out, Jenny ran away to Scarborough and when she moved into a bedsit she met a girl named Lydia Hart, who lived ion the bedsit above her.
When the real Lydia died, Jenny found her birth certificate and took her identity.
Since Lydia went to the police and told them the truth she has been struggling to cope and blaming herself for the death of her little boy.
But tonight, it looks like things are going to get worse when a reporter goes to Wishing Well Cottage looking to interview Lydia.
In a preview clip, Chas comes over to the cottage to try to talk to Lydia.
She tells her cousin's girlfriend that she knows what it's like to lose a child but Lydia questions how Chas can compare losing her baby to what she did to hers.
Chas tells Lydia that it isn't her fault her baby died and offers to go with her on a walk.
As Chas goes to use the toilet, Lydia gets frustrated at her fiancé Sam, telling him she told him she didn't want to see anyone or to discuss what happened in her past.
As she storms out of the house, she bumps into a reporter who introduces herself as Janice Roberts from Yorkshire Mail.
She is looking for Lydia aka Jenny and says her sources have told her Jenny lives at Wishing Well cottage.
Upset, Lydia gets into the van and starts crying.
Emmerdale is on Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursday on ITV.
