Emmerdale fans have slammed the show for a massive prison ‘blunder’.
Lachlan White was finally caught trying to scare the Dingle family into recanting their evidence against him after Belle Dingle managed to get through to his dad Donny.
She begged him to see who Lachlan really is after Donny stabbed Vanessa Woodfield to die.
Donny wore a wire and got his son to confess to everything he had paid him to do, putting his reign of terror at an end for good.
But while the victory was hard won, the soap was slammed for showing a bizarre scene in prison.

Belle Dingle has been tortured by Lachlan for months since discovering he had killed his family and best friend.
So in a strange turn of events the police were seen letting Belle walk into the male prison and into Lachlan’s cell.
The police detective who caught Lachlan sad to Belle: “We wouldn’t normally allow it Belle, but he’s put you through so much and you deserve some closure.”
Walking into the killer’s cell Belle told him: “You’re not sorry for anything but it’s over.
“You’ve got nothing left. You know the difference between me and you is family. Mine might be all I’ve got but we love each other and we stick together.
“What have you got – except a lifetime stuck in here? So this is it, this is goodbye. I can’t say it’s been nice to know you but I hope you have a great life Lachlan. I know I will.”

Critics pointed out it would never be allowed to happen in real life.
One said: “#Emmerdale no way that’d be legal for them to let Belle to go see that [expletive].”
A second added: “Belle visiting Lachlan in his cell just would not happen. #Emmerdale.”
