Emmerdale fans are predicting heartbreak for Victoria Sugden when her rapist returns to the village.
The chef was brutally sexually assaulted by car salesman Lee Posner last month and he has so far managed to escape justice for the evil assault.
Shortly after the terrible event Victoria discovered she is pregnant and decided to keep the baby.
It has now been revealed that rapist Lee will return to the village with his mother Wendy and fans fear they are going to discover the pregnancy and try to take the baby from her.
One said: “With her rapist not actually been charged doesn’t that mean he has rights when it comes to the baby and can have access. It would be pretty sick of him knowing what he did but I wouldn’t put it past him to demand access.”

A second said: “If Lee is the father, then that can be proven by DNA tests, if necessary.
“If he wants access to what is his child, then it will be extremely difficult to resist, There is no proof that Lee did rape her – it’s his word against hers, as far as the authorities are concerned.
“Victoria is in a terrible situation, though she doesn’t realise that yet.”
Another added: “No conviction equals no rape. In the legal sense. The father should have his rights respected, surely.”
Actress Susan Cookson will take on the role of Wendy who will go to the village later this month and find Victoria at work.
Susan teased the gritty storyline to come, saying: “I am thrilled and delighted to be joining the community, both on and off screen, that is Emmerdale.
“I am also excited about tackling all the gritty and emotional storylines that are ahead for my character Wendy.
“I’m thrilled to be playing such a fantastic character.”

Executive Producer Jane Hudson added: “Susan is a fabulous addition to the cast and we are delighted to have welcomed her onto the Emmerdale team.
“She is a brilliant actor and we can’t wait for the drama Wendy brings to play out.”
