Emmerdale fans beg soap not to ruin Ryan’s character

He made a shocking comment

Emmerdale viewers have begged the writers not to ruin Ryan Stocks.

In Monday night’s episode, Emmerdale viewers were shocked when he offered Dawn money for sex.

Ryan has been a fan favourite since he arrived in Emmerdale last year as Charity Dingle’s son but on Monday night, viewers turned on him and they are now begging the soap not to ruin the character.

One tweeted: “I’m sorry but what Ryan did was so wrong and unlike the character we love, what were you thinking, he is a nice guy so why make him do that” [sic]

A second tweeted: “I hate that Ryan has been written like this. Especially after everything that happened with Charity. It’s not him at all.”

A third put: “What the hell happened then bloody shocking just came from nowhere his behaviour writers just ruined Ryan what are they playing at didn’t make sense [sic]

Entertainment Daily readers also pleaded for the writers not to ruined his character.

One wrote: “I hope the writers are not going to ruin his character now.”

A second wrote: “Don’t make Ryan a nasty person he’s so nice hope he does find a nice girl in Emmerdale and be happy think Dawn wants friendship only.” [sic]

Another put “That’s not right for his character.” [sic]

In last night’s episode Ryan tried to make it up to Dawn and seeked advice from Tracy.

But things didn’t quite go to plan when his friend Gail turned up to the pub before he had a chance to go apologise to Dawn.

The situation got worse when Gail kissed Ryan as soon as Dawn walked into the pub, leaving her devastated.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
