Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle came to Harriet Finch’s rescue last night, when her sinister stalker struck again leaving her fearing for her life.
And ITV viewers were very happy to see the former flames sharing screen time together.
In fact, after the scenes aired on Tuesday (16 April), fans spoke loud and clear – they want Cain and Harriet to get back together… Never mind Moira!

Emmerdale’s Harriet was terrified out of her wits when her stalker locked her in the church, slamming the heavy doors behind her and ignoring her pleas for mercy.
However, along came anti-hero Cain who soon helped her escape after hearing her cries for help.
And viewers were quick to reminisce about the couple’s previous romantic entanglement, and begged for them to reunite.

One wrote: “Seeing Harriet and Cain hugging makes me realise how much I loved them as a couple.”
Another said: “Cain and Harriet feels. I miss them together.”
A third typed: “Cain looked happier and more relaxed in a few minutes with a stressed out Harriet than he has with Moira for years. #Emmerdale.”
Others called his rescue “cute” and “incredible attractive”, while one more said: “Harriet and Cain would be a fab couple. Cain and Moira are on the skids anyway. I think he still has feelings for her. I hope they go down that road again if I’m honest.”

Cain fans weren’t happy when he got an earful from Moira in the same episode, with one tweeting: “I honestly don’t understand what Cain sees in Moira.”
Another added: “I really don’t get why Moira got so jealous last night. Cain was just helping out a friend but, if she carries on like that, he’ll get bored with it. He shouldn’t have to put up with that #Emmerdale.”
Emmerdale fans know that Cain and Harriet embarked on an affair in March 2017, which lasted just under a year.
