Emmerdale fans who were watching the ITV soap closely last night would have noticed a familiar looking face in a guest role.
On Thursday (28 March) viewers saw a randy couple getting up to some very saucy business at the B&B – and one of them was Sam Reece in his first acting role.

While Sam isn’t known for acting – he’s actually a hairdresser, model and reality TV star – he was at the centre of a media storm in 2016 when his then-girlfriend Stephanie Davis entered the Celebrity Big Brother house.
As the world watched, Sam saw his Hollyoaks girlfriend become amorous with fellow housemate Jeremy McConnell, who she went on to have a child with, Caben-Albi.
On the back of the infamy, Sam went on to star in Ex On The Beach and Real Housewives Of Cheshire.

In Emmerdale, he portrayed Mr Palmer who, along with his older ‘wife’, checked into Laurel Thomas’ pirate ship, only to be promptly kicked out of the B&B for having sex in the showers!
While Sam, 26, was only on screen for a matter of minutes, eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot Stephanie’s ex in the role.

Sam recently told the Mail Online: “Acting was never really something I’d thought about or considered, but I really enjoyed it.
“It’s only a small part, but I’m hoping it leads to more acting opportunities. It’s definitely different doing a serious acting role, compared to being in a reality show.”
After his appearance, he tweeted: “Thank you for all the messages. After getting caught in the shower, the rest of the short storyline continues tomorrow on ITV at 7pm @emmerdale.
“And for people asking if it’s permanent. I’m sorry, it’s not, just a very short storyline. Thanks again for the opportunity @emmerdale.”
Sam got lucky after sending ITV producers a three-line audition clip.
