Fans of Emmerdale have been left divided over Jacob Gallagher’s new hairstyle.
For months, Jacob has been growing his hair out long, but recently he has decided to put his hair up into a bun.

Others however, aren’t so keen on it.
One even suggested bosses asked him to wear it like that just to annoy viewers!

In last night’s episode of Emmerdale (August 20 2019), David, Jacob’s dad, was shocked to find out that his son had been writing letters to paedophile Maya in prison.
For months, David’s girlfriend groomed Jacob, who also happened to be her school pupil.
The teacher was eventually caught out by Priya on Emmerdale’s Big Night Out.
After seeing the pair kiss, she told Jacob’s biological mother Leyla and David’s ex wife Tracy.
After Leyla thought she had killed Maya, the women were shocked to find out she escaped to a hotel, where she had been staying with Jacob.
David eventually called the police on Maya and she was finally sent to prison for 12 months.

Although Jacob appeared to hate his dad for getting Maya sent down, the pair seemed to be getting on better.
Will David confront Jacob about the letters?
Emmerdale is on Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursday on ITV.
