Emmerdale star Amelia Flanagan, who plays April Windsor, looks ‘grown up’ after showing off her new look.
Her mum Rachel recently posted a picture of Amelia to her Instagram.
Amelia could be seen smiling with her hair tucked behind her ears.
Rachel captioned the post: “Big girl got her ears pierced.”
Her friends and followers commented on the post.
Mark Charnock, who plays Amelia’s on-screen dad Marlon Dingle, wrote: “What? Right I’m getting my ears pierced too! I’m not having this!”
One follower commented: “They look so lovely. She looks so grown up.”
Another added: “Oh my goodness! She looks so grown up.”
Emmerdale: Amelia Flanagan returning to work
Amelia has been off work from Emmerdale since March, when it was announced the soap would stop filming due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Although the show has since resumed filming, children have not yet returned. This is because they require chaperones on set and with social distancing guidelines, numbers need to be kept as small as possible.
Oh my goodness! She looks so grown up.
This also means her Coronation Street co-stars and on-screen siblings Isabella and William, who play Hope Stape and Joseph Brown, haven’t returned to work.
But despite being off work, the three soap stars appear to have kept busy.
The Flanagan family – moving house
Back in July, Rachel announced that they had bought an old school and were renovating it.
Meanwhile, Rachel revealed that her favourite room in the house is now complete, sharing photos of their beautiful new living room.
As well as working on their new home, it looks as if the Flanagan family have been making the most of their time together, enjoying family days out.
Meanwhile, Amelia showed off a new trick that she taught their family dog Daisy.
However, Rachel told Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley in a Instagram comment that Amelia is ‘lost’ without her soap family.
