Liam Cavanagh and Bernice Blackstock are full of excitement in Emmerdale as the week of their wedding finally arrives… but soon a shock revelation throws the whole thing into doubt.
As Liam and Bernice’s big day gets closer, the pair are busy putting together all the finishing touches. Liam even reveals that he has got Bernice a special gift to mark their nuptials.
But of course Bernice hasn’t even thought about getting anything for her husband-to-be. She starts panicking about what she can get him that would celebrate the day perfectly.
While Bernice searches for the perfect gift, daughter Dee Dee reveals she has already got her wedding present for the bride and groom sorted… and her gift is going to be the fact she is sticking around in the village and starting at the local school.
Bernice is thrilled to have her daughter back at home where she belongs and is overwhelmed by the gesture. It also gives her good for thought when it comes to her own gift for Liam.
Realising that her present doesn’t have to be something material, Bernice gets planning.
But while she puts her thinking cap on Leanna gets upset that she hasn’t been asked her opinion on the gift for her dad and so Bernice puts her in charge of organising the hen do to keep her happy.

As the hen night arrives, Bernice’s daughters are left red-faced when a stripper arrives… but little do they know that seeing their mum with a naked man is the least of their worries when the night soon takes a sinister turn.

As Liam and Bernice are declaring their undying love for one another at their respective parties, bride-to-be Bernice is oblivious to someone desperately trying to contact her on the phone.
Bernice misses the numerous calls on her mobile, but eventually whoever is trying to get through to her gets hold of Dee Dee instead and reveals a shock secret that could derail the wedding entirely.
But who has got a bombshell for Bernice? And what exactly do they need to tell her that is so huge it could see the wedding cancelled?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
