Next week sees jealous Jacob Gallagher go to great lengths to make sure David Metcalfe and Maya Stepney’s romantic break is ruined, but will his games lead to their affair being rumbled?
Emmerdale fans have watched in horror over the last few months as evil teacher Maya has been grooming David’s teenage son, Jacob.
But in yet another sinister twist, next week sees Jacob getting jealous of Maya’s relationship with his adoptive dad and decides to do something about it.

As David and Maya plan a romantic night away together, Jacob can’t help but turn into the green-eyed monster, wishing it was him who was spending a night of passion and romance with his teacher.
But, of course, David is obvious to his stepson’s turmoil and excitedly gets ready for his mini break.
But instead of sitting back and letting David have his night away, Jacob sets about sabotaging the whole thing, unable to let it go ahead as planned.
As Maya heads off to the hotel, David tells his girlfriend that he will catch her up, promising to be there in time for dinner.
But with Jacob’s sabotage plan in action, David is soon late leaving to meet Maya.
Maya is fuming that David is going to be late and tells him not to bother coming at all, cancelling their night away and leaving Jacob thrilled that his plan worked.

But with David now out of the picture, has he just given Maya the opportunity to spend a night of passion with his son, instead of with him?
And with David knowing exactly where Maya is, could he change his mind and head to the hotel, only to catch his girlfriend and son in a very compromising position?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
