Poor Bob Hope has been struggling to make ends meet ever since he was dumped by Laurel and left with nowhere to live.
But next week sees his situation get even worse when he struggles to pay his bill at the B&B and is forced to find somewhere else to stay.
Viewers have seen the Woolpack barman hiding his money worries from everyone in the village over the last few months, taking on random part time jobs to try and raise some much-needed funds.
Christmas couldn't have come at a worse time for Bob and he even considered stealing from charity in order to give his kids the expensive presents they were demanding.
But next week will see fresh trouble for Bob when he realises he's outstayed his welcome at the B&B because he can't pay his way.
Eric and Diane are getting fed up with his mounting bills, and when Eric demands he pays what he owes, it's clear Bob doesn't have anywhere near enough money to cover his debts.
Thankfully things seem to be looking up for the desperate dad when Chas announces she is going to be paying the Woolpack bar staff a bonus.
But when Bob finds out how much the bonus actually is, he realises it will barley scratch the surface of his money troubles and he's back at square once again.
As downhearted Bob looks for somewhere else to live, it seems he has finally found himself well and truly homeless as he considers a homeless hostel. But is that really his only option?
With this only other choice sleeping rough, it seems that Bob doesn't have much choice. But why won't he tell anyone about his money worries?
Too proud to confess all to Laurel or Brenda, Bob would rather battle his problems alone. Will anyone realise what is going on with him before something awful happens?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
