After the drama of the Big Night Out in Emmerdale, fans have been waiting on tenterhooks to find out what exactly happened.
With several storylines set to hit their climax over the next week, the show has now released preview clips of what’s to come – and they tease a lot of drama.

What everyone really wants to know is what has happened to Maya Stepney?
The schoolteacher has been grooming her pupil Jacob Gallagher for months and making him believe they’re in a relaionship, while also being in a relationship with his stepdad, David Metcalfe.
During the Big Night Out episode, Maya was caught kissing Jacob by Priya Kotecha, who promptly told Leyla and Tracy.
The three of them got Maya into Priya’s car and she hasn’t been seen since.
They were later seen burning Priya’s scarf, which had Maya’s blood on it.
In the preview clip for next Tuesday, Leyla is seen crying as she explains: “It was just this chain of events, it was one thing after another and I, I couldn’t stop it.”
What couldn’t she stop? What exactly happened to Maya?
Fans have been offering up theories all week, including one that Maya was in the suitcase, supposedly full of clothes, that the girls were getting rid of.
Viewers are hoping Maya isn’t dead as they want her to come back and face justice for what she’s done.
Actress Roxy Shahidi has already admitted that Leyla knows more than she’s told Tracy or Priya about where Maya is.
The storyline has left fans with a bitter taste in their mouths as they watch infatuated Jacob fall further into Maya’s web of lies.
They have called for it to end, but the cast involved in the plot have insisted it’s supposed to be uncomfortable to watch as it’s an important story to tell.

Show boss Kate Brooks has insisted Maya will face justice: “We’ve got a responsibility.
“A lot of people watch the show, a lot of teenagers watch the show, and also we would never just tell one of these stories lightly, we have a duty to make sure the right protocol is carried out, and the right outcome.”
Emmerdale is on Monday to Friday at 7pm, with extra episodes on Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm next week.
