Tonight’s Emmerdale is going to be a tough watch as we will get one final, heartbreaking scene between Robert and Aaron Sugden-Dingle.
Robert’s fate was sealed last week when he was sentenced to life imprisonment, serving at least 14 years, for killing rapist Lee Posner.
But fans who thought that was the last they’d see of the Sugden-Dingles together have got a treat as the boys are reunited tonight.

It’s a bittersweet moment however, as visiting Aaron has no idea that Robert isn’t being completely truthful.
Aaron thinks they’re going to keep their relationship alive with regular visits and contact, but Robert is hiding something big.
In reality, Robert has discovered he’s being transferred to a prison on the Isle of Wight and knows in his heart the occasional visit is not fair on Aaron and he should be allowed to move on with his life.
Robert knows this is goodbye as the boys face each other in the prison visiting room, but Aaron does not.
And when it comes down to it, Robert just can’t bring himself to tell Aaron the truth about the prison move and what it means for their future.
The pair part, but will Aaron figure out this was more than just a regular goodbye and is actually the end forever?
Next week sees Chas receive a phone call from Robert, who clearly still can’t bear to tell Aaron the news himself.
She then relays to Aaron – and Robert’s sister, Victoria – that Robert has put a moratorium on all visitors and the reality hits home they’re never going to see him again.
Aaron is set to spiral out of control following the news.
Show boss Kate Brookes previously spoke of about how Robert’s exit will affect Aaron.
“Robert leaving is going to hit him hard,” she revealed to Inside Soap.
“He is the love of Aaron’s life whom he adored, and has kept Aaron anchored and on the straight and narrow.

“So when the rug is pulled from underneath his feet, it really affects Aaron and it makes him behave in ways he wouldn’t normally.”
