Next week’s EastEnders sees Mel laid to rest, while Phil is determined to work out the truth about Sharon’s baby and Louise goes into labour…

Drama at Mel’s funeral 

Albert Square residents gather for Mel’s funeral… with Ian leading the mourners.

But Lisa struggles when she sees hearse and Louise stands by her mum’s side, offering support.

Will the day run smoothly, or is there drama to come?

Phil does some digging 

With Lisa’s accusations still haunting him, Phil becomes convinced that she isn’t taking her medication. He decides to do some detective work but is surprised to discover she is up to date with taking her pills.

Meanwhile, Keanu panics as Phil’s determination to unearth the truth about Sharon’s baby becomes obsessive.

Phil becomes convinced that Sharon and Jack are up to no good but, when they spot the pair together, Keanu bundles him out of the cafe before he can make a scene.

Phil confronts Sharon about Lisa’s accusations, but she rubbishes them and leaves Phil feeling guilty for doubting her.

Meanwhile, across the Square Louise goes into labour and, with Keanu by her side, they wait for the ambulance to arrive.

Phil arrives at the hospital where Louise is in labour, but Louise is adamant that she wants Sharon there.

Phil is suspicious when he can’t get through to his wife, convinced she is with Jack.

Honey confronts cheating Adam 

Adam’s lies start to catch up with him when he backs out of plans with Honey and she is convinced that he is with another woman.

Honey’s suspicious are confirmed when Iqra asks her about Adam’s secretary, Sally. Honey knows that Adam doesn’t have a secretary and that means he must be having another affair.

Honey takes matters into her own hands with Adam and confronts him.

But will he manage to worm his way out of trouble this time?

Honey needs a shoulder to cry on and goes to see Billy, but things are awkward when she realises that he isn’t alone…

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
