FIRST LOOK: Next week’s EastEnders in 10 pictures

Jean's struggling

Jean is struggling, Ruby holds her first event at Walford East, while Iqra’s terrified after her picture’s put on social media in next week’s EastEnders.

Monday February 25

Ruby’s nervous about her event at Walford East and things start badly when she posts a picture of Iqra to the restaurant’s social media page and she’s upset.

Things pick up and the event seems a success, but then potential client, Lewis, makes a move on Ruby and she orders him to leave, making a scene. The event then ends suddenly…

Iqra doesn’t go to the event after the picture went online, but Habiba reassures her it’s no big deal and encourages her sister to go back to the party. What are they hiding?

Iqra does go to the party where she catches Kush’s eye when she spills a tray of drinks on him.

A hungover Rainie reels from her night with a man she met in the pub. She goes to the Walford East party and bumps into him again – it’s Lewis, Ruby’s potential client.

Tuesday February 26

Rainie attends a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. She’s stunned to see Stuart there, but keeps out of his view.

Stacey is worried about her mum, but Jean continues to be in denial that anything is wrong.

Thinking it’s just too much for Jean to handle Cherry, Stacey tells Kat to step up.

Kat then finds Jean’s appointment letter and realises she could have cancer. She tries to comfort Jean, who warns her not to tell Stacey.

Thursday February 28

Jay feels bad that he’s got the wrong end of the stick with Ruby. As they talk it out, he upsets her again.

Stacey fears the worst when she learns the truth about Jean and insists her mum go for the tests immediately.

It’s all too much for Jean, who heads off alone. Honey sees her sitting on a bench and alerts Stacey.

When Jean later overhears Stacey and Kat talking about her, she packs a bag and sneaks off to the station.

Friday March 1

Stuart’s paranoid Rainie will tell Dot and Halfway about his past. He keeps a close eye on her, but eventually decides he’s had enough and is going to leave.

He’s stopped by Dot and ends up confessing everything to her. How will she react?

After Jean disappears, the Slaters report her missing.

Stacey is struggling, so Martin ropes the residents in to help find her mum.

EastEnders is on Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
