EastEnders viewers want Chantelle Atkins’ abusive husband Gray to be killed off.

A couple of weeks ago, viewers were sickened when the solicitor punched his wife Chantelle.

After the Walford 10k, Gray was humiliated after Chantelle’s dad Mitch admitted to cheating in the race.

As everyone in the pub laughed at Mitch, Gray stormed out.

Chantelle looked terrified as her husband took her home and the second she was through the door he viciously grabbed her before punching her in the stomach.

She doubled-over in pain and sobbed as Gray blamed her for his abusive actions.

In Friday’s episode (July 26 2019), Mitch punched Gray after discovering Keegan had decided to leave school following a day working at Gray’s office.

Throughout the episode, Chantelle was seen subtly begging members of her family to stay in the house with her so she wouldn’t be alone with Gray – and for good reason.

Once her mother Karen had no more reason to be in the house, she left, and Gray took his humiliation out on a terrified Chantelle.

As Gray received a text with a picture of Keegan and Tiffany, Chantelle said: “My little brother, the romantic.”

Gray agreed but quickly turned saying “Shame about the rest of your family” before locking the doors and saying to his wife “Looks like it’s just gonna be me and you tonight.”

Fans were horrified at the ‘sickening’ abuse, with one saying: “Actually feel sick watching Chantelle and Gray’s storyline #eastenders.”

A second added: “The way EastEnders is portraying Chantelle’s domestic abuse storyline is absolutely chilling and true to real life.”

And now they’ve gone one step further and begged for Gray to be killed off.

EastEnders is on Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.
