EastEnders SPOILERS: Gray Atkins questioned by police

It's after another violent outburst...

Gray Atkins' violent behaviour gets him in trouble with the police next week, and EastEnders fans will enjoy seeing him squirm.

Viewers have watched in helpless horror over the past few months, as the high-achieving solicitor has physically assaulted his wife Chantelle on a number of occasions.

One attack saw him lock his wife in the house and beat her after becoming jealous over her close relationship with her family, and more recently, he punched her in the stomach just moments before a pregnancy test confirmed she was expecting.

After Chantelle threatened to leave him, Gray has promised to take his anger out on household objects instead - and has been seen punching a mirror.

The troubled dad has also promised to attend therapy (although fans don't believe he's going).

In a new storyline coming up next week, Gray finds himself questioned by police and comes dangerously close to them realising how violent he is.

The villain will spark suspicion from Jack Branning after he mysteriously disappears overnight.

Next Thursday (October 10), Chantelle is left panic-stricken when her husband doesn't come home after a row.

Knowing what he is capable of in a rage, she fears the worst...

However, when he eventually returns, Gray claims he simply stayed at work late.

Although the couple eventually make amends, it soon becomes apparent that Gray has lied yet again when Jack and a police colleague arrive to question him about the night before.

Far from being at work, it becomes clear that Gray got himself into a fight at a nightclub...

With Jack back on the force, will he detect a lady in distress and smell a rat?

EastEnders viewers have been desperate for Gray's violent ways to be exposed, with some even hoping he dies in a Christmas storyline.

Others worry that Chantelle might lose her baby if Gray lashes out again, or even be killed herself.
