EastEnders SPOILER: Rainie cheats on Max

While the cat's away...

There’s heartache in EastEnders next week when Rainie Branning tries to forget about husband Max Branning by setting her sights on a new man.

After Max found himself caught up in Jack Branning’s drama with Mel Owen, he took it upon himself to rescue his brother by taking him to France for a family holiday.

But while he might be saving Jack from Mel’s murderous intentions after he shopped her son Hunter to the police for Ray Kelly’s murder… Max has managed to upset wife Rainie once again by telling her she wasn’t invited on their getaway.

Left home alone to look after the family businesses, Rainie’s nose was seriously put out of joint when she discovered that Max hadn’t just left her the car lot to manage alone.

In addition to selling cars, Rainie also discovered that Max has bought Masood’s share of Walford East… meaning she had yet another business to tend to.

Fed up as being treated as Max’s personal assistant, Rainie decides to have some fun while he’s away and heads to the Vic where she downs drinks and flirts with a mystery man.

But who is this mystery man and why does he keep turning up wherever Rainie is?

The pair start chatting and Rainie is shocked when he drops a bombshell… but what does he tell her?

With Max already holding her at arm’s length thanks to her one night stand with his brother Jack, something tells us Max wouldn’t take too kindly to the news that she has been getting friendly with random men in the Vic while he’s away.

Could this be the final nail in the Brannings sham marriage?

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
