The pub is full of Albert Square residents...

Phil Mitchell will spring into action after he hears the gun shot going off in The Vic in tomorrow night’s EastEnders (September 6 2019).

In tonight’s episode (September 5 2019) viewers saw the drama kick off as Hunter started to hold the wedding reception guests hostage.

After trying to convince escaped prisoner Hunter that things would get better for him, Mick, Hunter and Jack got into a scrap in the cellar.

Hearing the police were outside, Hunter made them go through to the bar area, where Whitney and Callum’s wedding reception was being held, despite the lack of an actual wedding.

As they went through the bar, most people were focused on Whitney, who was on stage about to reveal Callum had cheated on her with Ben.

But Hunter’s plan was rumbled when he was spotted and Keegan yelled: “he’s got a gun.”

Despite Hunter demanding the doors were locked, Lisa managed to get into the pub to find Louise, not realising what was happening.

As Hunter held a gun at Jack, Mel begged for him to see sense but he told her to shut up.

Mick soon grabbed the gun and Kush and Keegan jumped in, in a bid to get the gun off the escaped convict.

As the group fell to the floor a gunshot could be heard ringing out. But who was shot?
