Mick Carter is left fighting for his life in next week's EastEnders after an argument with Stuart Highway ends in disaster.
EastEnders fans will already know that Mick is a man on the edge at the moment, struggling to juggle a busy family life while also fighting to make ends meet as he does the pub finances.
As well as also taking on the job of helping with the local kids' football team along with friend Mitch Baker, Mick also has the worry of his youngest son Ollie's potential autism diagnosis hanging over him.
This week fans will see it all get too much for Mick, leading to him collapsing while refereeing a local football match. But it seems his health worries don't end there.
Next week things are continuing to get on top of Mick, but he is determined to bury his head in the sand and pretend there's nothing wrong with him.
But turning a blind eye soon ends his disaster when he takes another bad turn while having a fight with former-best-friend-turned-arch-enemy Stuart Highway.
Mick gets stressed when he finds himself cornered by Stuart at the pub and, despite Stuart making a desperate plea to rebuild their friendship, Mick doesn't want to know.
Sending the man who tried to frame him for attempted murder packing, Mick struggles to breathe and it soon becomes clear that he's in a seriously bad way.
Despite hating him, Mick calls Stuart back knowing he needs his help, and Stuart is alarmed when he finds his former best friend fighting for breath.
As Mick collapses on the floor Stuart panics and calls an ambulance... but will Mick be okay?
With his fight with Stuart bringing on his collapse, will this give Mick yet another reason to hate him?
Or will the fact Stuart came to his rescue be what the pair need to get their friendship back on track?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
