There’s drama at the Slaters next week when Alfie Moon suddenly disappears after sending Kat a worrying text…
With the pressure of his secrets and lies weighing heavily on his mind, Alfie starts next week feeling strained.
But just when he thought things couldn’t get any worse, Ian withdraws his investment in his business and he’s left without a penny to his name.

Kat is fuming when she finds out, yelling at him for letting his family down once again… so, desperate for cash, Alfie decides he needs to find another way to make some money.
Heading over to see Phil at The Arches, Alfie thinks he has got the perfect plan to get the funds that he needs.
But when he sees Keanu hiding a big wad of cash at the garage, he comes up with a plan B and tries to make Phil an offer he won’t be able to refuse.
After winning Mr Mitchell over, it seems Alfie’s week is looking up. So with a pocket full of cash he arranges a Slater family meal to celebrate.
But just when it looked like things were finally going well, Kat is stunned to get a text from Alfie telling her that he’s in serious trouble…
Before the Slaters know what is happening, the bailiffs are at their house, clearing out all their belongings thanks to a certain Mr Moon’s dodgy dealings.
But as everyone is thinking the worst of Alfie, the police arrive with some shocking news.
Exactly what the police reveal to Kat and co is a closely guarded secret, but it is clear that all is not well with Alfie and it seems he has gone missing… but where?
Kat is stunned when she finds half a message from Alfie on a post-it note in her bag. But when Ernie tells her that he ate the other half of his dad’s note, it seems Kat is still no closer to finding out what Alfie was trying to tell her when he vanished.
Kat and Stacey turn the Slaters upside down, desperate to find any other clues as to where Alfie might have gone… but their search is frustrating and fruitless.

But just when Kat thought her problems were bad enough, Phil is soon on the warpath, and is fuming when he discovers Alfie has gone missing with his cash.
But surely even Alfie isn’t daft enough to take Phil’s money and scarper?
Kat explains to her boys that Alfie has just gone away for a bit and will be home soon… but is she making promises that she can’t keep?
As she struggles to come to terms with the fact she doesn’t actually know when – or even if – Alfie will ever be back, Kat is shocked when she eventually comes across the other half of her husband’s note and rushes upstairs with a look of terror on her face after reading it.
