EastEnders schedule changed again as double bill airs Thursday night

This time it's for rugby

EastEnders fans be warned: the show’s Friday night episode has been cancelled for the second week in a row.

The soap are instead showing a double bill tonight (Thursday January 31).

EastEnders reminded viewers of the change on their Twitter account.

Last week the change was in place due to the FA cup, but as many fans lamented football taking over the schedule again, others were quick to remind them it’s actually the Six Nation’s rugby causing tonight’s change.

But many fans are excited they get a double bill as they’re desperate to find out what happens with Sharon Mitchell and Keanu Taylor.

Sharon has just returned to find Keanu coupled up with her stepdaughter Louise – and it’s fair to say she’s not happy about it.

“Yes yes yes – Cannot wait for this! Such an exciting storyline and one that is going to go on for sometime, the Mitchell’s are in for a long ride,” said one tweet.

Another added: “I can’t wait to watch this tonight.”

As well as the Sheanu goings on, viewers can also expect more Mel and Hunter drama as he continues to spiral out of control.
