Mel Owen's worst nightmare has come true in EastEnders.
Ray Kelly's body was discovered in last night's episode by an Alsatian out for a walk in the woods.
It began digging up the corpse in the woods before finding something (Ray!) and barking to its owner.
And with the secret set to be exposed, Mel's going to face a race against time to leave Walford with her killer son.
Viewers know Mel's son Hunter shot Ray to save his mother from being killed.
But since the killing, Hunter has shown disturbing behaviour including plotting to kill again and making threats towards the police investigating Ray's disappearance.
Mel has resorted to locking her son in the house and removing all the knives so he can't kill her easily.
She's even agreed to sell her half of the club to the Mitchells for far less than what it's worth so she can get her son away from the area and the police investigation.
"Money comes through next week and then we're out of here," Mel told her son last night not knowing what was happening in the woods.
EastEnders fans have now predicted Hunter's demise with actor Charlie Winter recently confirmed as being axed from the soap.
