Max Branning actor, Jake Wood, has been left stunned by a fan who suggested they look alike.
The EastEnders star posted a picture of an Instagram direct message he received from a fan which said “Do you think we look alike?”
She then added “I get it all the time.”

Jake also shared a photo of the girl revealing that she looked nothing like Jake.
Jake captioned the post “We’re living in strange times folks”.

However, the fan who is called Demi, posted a tweet to her Twitter account which included Jake’s post.
The tweet was captioned “Ok so you know my DMing 100 celebrities video? WELL MAX BRANNING REPOSTED MY DMS TO HIM AND IM DEAD” [sic]

It turns out Demi is a YouTuber and her message was part of a new challenge.
The challenge entails a person sending messages to 100 different celebrities on Instagram and seeing how many of them reply.
In her video “I sent a DM to 100 celebrities on Instragram” Demi also messaged TV duo Ant and Dec, former EastEnders star Rita Simons and Jacqueline Jossa.

She also messaged EastEnders star Danny Dyer saying “I’m told all the time I look like you” followed up with “can you see the resemblance?”
