Jake Wood is better known as EastEnders bad boy Max Branning.
But Jake, 46, showed his real-life softer side when he shared a sweet family snap on Instagram.

Jake uploaded a photo that showed his wife Alison and son Buster walking through a field with their dog.
He captioned the photo with some heartfelt words.
He said: “Love this photo. Reminds me that parenthood is a journey we all embark upon together.
“I know that our two couldn’t wish for a better mum in my beautiful wife Alison either. Happy day.”
He followed the tribute with a hands-in-the-air and heart emoji.

Many of Jake’s 57,000 followers took to the social media site to show their delight at the image.
One said: “Aww that’s lovely x.”

Jake regularly posts snaps of himself and Alison on social media.
Just recently, Jake shared an image of the couple after they attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace.
Jake was there to give out prizes for the Duke Of Edinburgh Award.
“So inspiring to be surrounded by so many hard working and focused young achievers,” he said.
