EastEnders fans fear Rainie is dead after vicious clash with Cora

Cora lashed out in anger at her daughter...

Rainie Cross may not be perfect, but she certainly doesn’t deserve to be physically assaulted by her own mother!

In shocking scenes that aired last night (Tuesday 13 November), Cora Cross attacked her own daughter – knocking her to the floor with a frying pan.

It was a tough night for Rainie Cross as things got violent between her and her mother Cora.

The episode started with Cora punching daughter Rainie in the face in the Queen Vic.

The pair rarely see eye to eye, but are currently locked horns against each other for custody of baby Abi.

Cora has been trying to stop Rainie and Max getting custody of the baby, and has already exposed their sham marriage and revealed that her daughter slept with Jack.

Things came to a dramatic head last night as the mother and daughter had a huge bust-up, which ended with Cora hitting Rainie – very hard! – from behind with the nearest thing she could get her hands on.

As Rainie fell to the ground, fans worried that the former drug addict had been killed.

One said: “Wtf happened with Rainie is she dead or not?”

Another simply asked: “Is Rainie dead????”

Others were shocked that so-called husband Max had walked away leaving Rainie unconscious on the floor, while many more said neither party deserved custody of the baby.

Longtime fans also remarked that the scene reminded them of iconic character Pauline Fowler laying out husband Arthur with a frying pan after discovering his affair in 1992.
