Desperate Vincent Hubbard leaves EastEnders fans on edge as he double crosses Phil Mitchell

Viewers know what happens when you mess with a Mitchell!

Oh, Vincent. We know that Albert Square can be an unforgiving place even at the best of times, but it seems that fans are right to be worried by Vincent Hubbard’s latest mistake.

The bad boy, played by Richard Blackwood, decided that he had to resort to some extremely desperate measures to raise money as he struggled financially.

Those desperate measures were to contact DI Franklin and give him valuable information about the recent heist he was involved in alongside nasty crook Aidan Maguire and veteran EastEnders villain Phil Mitchell.

Vincent had been planning on selling his car in order to make ends meet, but ran into some very bad luck when someone crashed into the vehicle and then drove off, leaving Vincent with no way of selling it.

Vincent went to Phil to ask for some help, but received zero sympathy from the ageing hardman and found himself with little option other than to sell his information to DI Franklin.

Of course, crossing a Mitchell never goes very well for anybody on EastEnders, so fans were quick to voice their fears over Vincent’s latest bad decision.

“The end is nigh for Vincent after seeing that,” commented one soap watcher.

“Don’t do anything foolish Vincent,” warned another. Too late.

“I wonder if Vincent is gunna set up his own murder,” pondered another.

Of course, we already know that Vincent will be making an exit from the show after Richard Blackwood recently confirmed he will be leaving EastEnders soon.

“I have loved every minute of my time at EastEnders,” he said. “And although I will be sad to say goodbye, after three years it feels the right time to leave.”

“I have been truly blessed with some great storylines since the moment I joined, but when I was presented with my last story, I knew it was time for Vincent to depart Walford.”

“I’m now excited about what the future holds. I have a feature film out this year, I will be returning to theatre and also some great presenting TV gigs.”

So it seems the fans are right to be concerned, let’s just hope that Vincent’s exit is a good one!
