Despite fans believing the way was clear for Callum Highway and Ben Mitchell to officially get together in EastEnders, the road has not been smooth. EastEnders spoilers now reveal this is set to continue.
They haven’t managed to have a proper first date and Callum continues to struggle with his sexuality.
But when Whitney returns tomorrow night in EastEnders spoilers (Friday September 26) she has huge news for him that turns his world upside down.

After she drops the bombshell, Callum struggles to process the news and gets steaming drunk.
Callum decides he needs to confront Ben and storms over to the Mitchells’ where he tries to have it out with him.
He hits out at Ben for everything that’s happened, blaming him for the fact his wedding to Whitney didn’t go ahead and the struggle Callum now finds himself facing.
Tensions rise and Callum can’t contain his emotions. He leans in for a kiss…
Will Ben kiss him back? Can the boys finally get their happy ending?
Ben and Callum first got together when they shared an “electrifying” kiss in June after weeks of lingering looks.
They went on to have a fling and despite Callum’s best attempts to stay faithful in his relationship with Whitney – even proposing to her – he just couldn’t keep his mind off Ben.
On the night of his and Whit’s stag and hen dos, Callum confessed he’d slept with Ben, but Whitney decided she was so desperate for her happy ending, she’d marry him anyway.
The bride eventually realised she couldn’t go through with it and jilted him at the altar.

Whitney has since been on holiday and it’s now been confirmed she’ll spark up a romance with newcomer Leo King.
What Whit doesn’t know, however, is that Leo is the son of her abuser, paedophile Tony King, who is out for revenge on her and the family.
Leo turned up during Callum and Whitney’s wedding week and it soon became clear Bianca knew him.
She ordered him to stay away from her family, but it was obvious Leo would do anything but.
